My client are seeking an Network Administrator to be based in their Bicester office.

Requirements:

• Provide hardware & software support to UK offices and remote workers
• Diagnose/troubleshoot basic hardware and software faults (desktops, laptops, printers) and build CAD desktop machines
• Proven experience in hardware diagnostics and Cisco IOS experience
• In-depth understanding of network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls), VLans and IP Routing
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Server 2013 and MS exchange 2013, including domain trusts
• Working knowledge of Cisco, BT lines and communications
• Good understanding of Apple licencing and associated platforms
• Good working knowledge of 802.1X and network policy server
• Good general overall Network and Windows Security awareness and file/share level

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for providing office based and remote out of hours ICT support covering 1st through to 3rd line deliverables
• Installing and configuring software using PDQ deploy
• Ensure that the latest anti-virus software and definition files are updated using Symantec
• Day-to-day backup and disaster recovery procedures using
• Create, modify and manage user accounts
• Efficiently manage the Server Operating System and network of a wider Enterprise Network
• Ensure all software security and functionality updates are installed at all times, including device drivers
• Configure hardware including switches, router, VOIP system etc
• Ensure the company's ICT security backup and disaster recovery protocols are resilient
• Installation, deployment and management of bespoke software eg AutoDesk Design Review, AutoCAD MEP and Network Version / Trueview 2007
• Provide support for Windows Active Directory and Server 2013/2016 architecture supporting up to 300 user accounts
• Responsible for the imaging and deployment of PC's and laptops using Microsoft image deployment server
• Management of patch panels and organisation of network cables
