Are you an Enterprise Architect looking to use your infrastructure expertise in a new role? Is your ability to build, develop and implement strategic initiatives and improvements one of your finest points? Like the idea of making your mark across the UK and Europe?

If this sounds like it's ticking all of your boxes so far, then read on - we're looking for an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to join us, based out of either Manchester or Northampton.

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £64,000 per annum, plus private family healthcare entitlement, company car or car allowance and performance-related bonus. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural design guidance across our European infrastructure platforms
  • Analyse business structure and processes and use this analysis to present ideas on efficiency improvements, effectiveness and technological/infrastructure enhancements
  • Develop and implement standards for infrastructure architecture across Europe, supporting the strategic planning process and ensuring that the IT roadmap aligns with other areas of the business
  • Lead strategic technology initiatives with the aim of building and maintaining key elements of the enterprise architecture

What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • A proven track record of working in a similar capacity as an Enterprise Architect, with a particular focus on infrastructure strategy and architecture
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of virtualisation and storage technologies, hyper-converged solutions, disaster recovery and network architecture
  • Extensive project management experience with the confidence to make strategic, results-oriented business decisions
  • The ability to effectively lead a remote team and the flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe on a regular basis
