TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST (CONTRACT)
£400-475 PER DAY, 3 MONTHS

A major utilities provider is looking to make major change with their approach to Data & Analytics by implementing a number of exciting and broad ranging projects. They're looking for a Technical Business Analyst with experience working in an Agile environment and as a Scrum Master to help gather requirements and remove obstacles from the Data & Analytics team as they seek to implement the new solutions.

THE COMPANY:

This company is one of the biggest energy providers in the UK, dealing with over 6 million customers, managing their data to help keep them happy and to win new business. They are looking to use data to effectively understand their customers better and provide the best possible service and as such are kicking off a number of wide-ranging projects within the Data & Analytics team.

THE ROLE:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be working closely with key stakeholders and the technical teams. You'll be responsible for outlining the objectives and requirements from a business perspective and working with Project Managers and technical teams to outline a roadmap of how these needs can be met.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:
  • Working on-site with business leaders and understanding their challenges and requirements
  • Mapping out the data project with members of the development team
  • Acting as the bridge between technical members of the consultancy team and non-technical stakeholders
  • Maintaining the Agile working environment and acting as Scrum Master when required

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Technical Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
  • The ability to work with senior stakeholders, understand requirements and translate these to technical members of your team
  • Strong commercial experience working on Data & Analytics implementation objects
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile manner and as a Scrum Master
  • Be highly proficient in configuration and mapping calculations

THE BENEFITS:

The successful Business Analyst will receive between £400 and £475 per day over an initial 3-month period.
