My client has an exciting new role for an experienced Clinical Lead / Senior Nurse to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experience Senior Nurse looking for their next step up.

Responsibilities include implementing the highest standards of nursing and residential care. You will be assessing any surgical and medical matters that arise and you will be supervising nursing and care staff to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all.

Package:

-£19 - £21 per hour depending on experience

-Support with PIN/ NMC and DBS costs

Duties will include:

-Leading team effectively to ensure all employees are working to the best of their ability so the home is efficient and safe for all service users

-Ensuring health needs of each service users are met and care plans are amending as and when required , in line with company and government guidelines

-Ensuring all meals are of sufficient quality and that dietary needs are being met

-Administering medicines and ensuring associated paperwork is correctly completed

-Work with the RM to ensure staff are correctly communicated with and are being supervised in line with company guidelines

-Liaising with all parties linked to service users to include relatives and health professionals, to ensure the best level of care is attained at all times

-Supervising visits and liaising with GPs to establish good relationships with health professional and the centre

-Personnel duties to include assisting with recruitment, rotas and monitoring absences as well as supervisions / appraisals of staff and ongoing supervisions and assessments to aid mainstreaming on consistency of staffing levels, recording training and inductions of new staff and planning rotas and staffing levels

-Adhering to all appropriate NMC guidelines/regulations and the General Social Care Council Code of Conduct

-Working to all health and safety, confidentiality and safeguarding guidelines in place.

Ideal Candidate

-Previous experience in a similar role

-Supervising/ leadership experience

-Clinical / nursing experience, live PIN/NMC registration

-Exceptional communication skills, able to motivate and enthuse staff to gain the best , both for the employee and service user

-Excellent reporting and wiring skills, able to assess clinical needs and response to these in a confident manner

-A genuine passion and committed to the Nursing sector and implementing high standards of care
