This is an opportunity to take a key role in the establishment of the ERP competency centre that will run, manage and support the global ERP platform, driving performance improvement and commercial success in the years to come.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for the definition, monitoring and the analysis of quality management processes within the ERP Competency Centre.

This team is responsible for ensuring that service artefacts and the development deliverables are all of a level of quality that will result in successfully running the CoE. The QA lead is expected to manage the components and artefacts that will fulfil this function, to contribute to the strategy of change programmes and to organise and run the testing phases of programmes including UAT.

Key Responsibilities

* Run the QA team to provide sufficient coverage for all Centre of Excellence activity

* Feedback on quality of artefacts to business analysts in advance of vendor involvement

* Manage issue tracking tool

* Develop overall quality tactics and strategies to resolve the root causes of issues and develop detailed work plans to manage on customer experience and quality

* Manage test case tool

* Ensure use of QA toolsets meets published criteria

* Provide test exit reports on each development release

* With the solutions lead, manage the development teams (in-house and 3rd party) in quality discussions

* Contribute to launch readiness discussions

* Produce a known issues list to detail any issues that will not be fixed at go-live

* Work with the business readiness team to ensure accuracy of training materials

* Liaise with vendors for pen and performance testing

* Plan and run programme end to end testing

* Plan and run user acceptance testing

* As a lead in the CoE team, advise other change programmes on QA strategy

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice standards

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

The Centre of Excellence Quality Assurance Analyst utilises their advanced stakeholder management and quality analysis skills alongside a developed appreciation for the design, implementation and operation of Managed Application Services to define requirements and design the processes that support the operation of a world class ERP Competency Centre.

Key Skills / Attributes should include:

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and recommendations to all levels of staff via presentations, walkthroughs and one-to-ones

* Able to work collaboratively & be customer focussed, have strong interpersonal and networking skills, and establish and maintain solid, trusting relationships with project stakeholders at all levels, whether internal colleagues or external 3rd Parties

* Able to learn new concepts quickly and demonstrate effective logical and lateral analytical / problem solving skills

* Have good organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills - able to undertake several engagements concurrently and set priorities appropriately

* Be highly motivated, with the ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision and have a willingness to continually stretch themselves and develop their skill-set and career

* Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership in QA team and in wider programme team

* Demonstrate the ability to innovatively solve business problems, exercising pragmatism where appropriate, and be confident to challenge the status quo and any pre-conceived notions of the causes of the problem and possible solutions

* Be quality driven and take ownership of problems and issues and seek to proactively resolve them

* Appreciate the importance and role of an IT and Business strategy and of the commercial consequences of any change management decisions

* Able to maintain a strategic perspective in relation to IT applications, systems and architecture, whilst not losing sight of the potential worth of tactical IT business solutions

Salary range £65000 - £70000 per year
