As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent, you will work for yourself and supply Marston Holdings with your services to help recover monies owed. You will be engaged as part of an award-winning debt recovery team. Your goal will be to collect payment from customers by visiting their addresses.

Your successful enforcement will result in the recovery of monies owed to our clients.

Self-Employed Enforcement Agents engaged by Marston Holdings earn a typical and realistic commission of £35-£65k per year, with experienced agents often exceeding £50k-£80kpa. The commission is totally uncapped.

An 8-12 week "financial support" package prior to certification; plus
  • City & Guilds accredited training with 'on street' mentoring
  • A self-employed field-based role with access to work volumes, which make for realistic earning potential;
  • State of the art IT & Body Worn Camera equipment and access to software to help and improve performance;
  • Whilst owner drivers are preferred we do provide support arrangements for vehicle provision where required.


Becoming a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent is not for everyone. To succeed in this self-employed role, you must demonstrate the following:
  • Strong ethical and professional standards
  • Resilient and overcome barriers
  • Be self-motivated and have excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing & negotiation skills
  • A full driving licence and ability to travel
  • Computer literate and able to use basic software packages
  • Ability to supply services on own initiative and without supervision

All applications will undertake DBS/CCJ checks prior to training.


As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent supplying on behalf Marston Holdings, you will be responsible for:
  • Accepting enforcement cases
  • Enforcing court orders
  • Reporting on the progress of your enforcement
  • Managing your working day and choosing the hours you work
  • Acting within the regulations as detailed within the taking control of goods legislation 2013


Self-Employed Enforcement Agent roles are well suited to people with experience in:
  • Security, SIA
  • Sales - field sales, business development, Client and Customer Facing Field sales B2B B2C Sales Face to Face or Door to Door sales
  • Self-employed business owners
  • Recovery, collections Agent
  • Doorstep /Civil Enforcement Warrant Officer
  • Enforcement or Eviction Agent
  • Close protection, Private and maritime security
  • Housing, Immigration Officer
