A fantastic opportunity for a successful Business Development Manager has arisen to join a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation who focus on providing high-quality network solutions to their clients.

Your objective is to identify new business opportunities, generate lucrative sales leads and close deals to maximise sales and increase the Company's client portfolio, as well as raising brand awareness within the industry and to prospective customers.

As this also is an account management position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong, long lasting relationships with your clients. It will be expected for you to meet with new and existing customers, alongside attending events, conferences etc.

You will be based in the Company offices alongside working in your designated region. It will be essential for you to have a driving license and access to your own vehicle as this is a client facing role. In return you will receive a generous car allowance to support your travelling costs.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities through various methods: networking, cold calling, referrals, meetings, social media, marketing etc
  • Generate and manage own pipeline and report deal statuses to line management
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs set by line management
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to close and then manage the account
  • Arrange and attend meetings and engage with clients face to face
  • Have strong knowledge of the industry and company, including its products and services
  • Be an advocate for the Company and raise brand awareness wherever possible
  • Always seek new areas for expansion for the Company to increase sales margins
  • Understand the needs of your customer
  • Create and maintain client relationships
  • Build strong internal relationships with colleagues and be an excellent team-player

  • Experience in the selling network solutions on a B2B level, ideally a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Forward thinking with a desire to solve challenges and hit targets
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate, with ability to update and maintain a CRM
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Time management skills
  • A high level of professionalism and personal integrity
