Do you have a passion to help others? Want to give something positive back? Help our Award winning charity to support and empower people with learning disabilities - it's one of the most heartfelt feelings in the world and something that will stay with you forever...

We are seeking experienced and non experienced Relief Support Workers for our abode in Ellesmere Port.

What will I be doing?

We are recruiting to increase our bank of Relief Support Workers in the Ellesmere Port area, to support Adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. This means you will work shifts as needed (and on occassions on short notice) when our regular staff are on holiday, on sick leave or during other periods of additional need.

Your working day might include going for a walk in the park, helping one of our adults attend college or work placements, going to watch a film at the cinema, exercising, playing in the soft paly area, or helping our adults to meet their friends or family. Some of the people we support have physical disabilities, and some require assistance with personal care. You may be faced with behaviour that some people find challenging. This isn't always an easy job, but you'll get full free training and if you join us, you'll find out just how rewarding it is.

We will pay you on an hourly rate basis for the time worked, and shifts offered can include days, evenings, nights and weekends.

What we need from you

Firstly, you don't need experience to become a Support Worker but it's not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it's something you'll never forget.

As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we'll teach you the rest. Just bring your good hearts and kind nature. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.

*You will be driving our adapted vehicles so you must have a full manual driving licence and be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
