iVendi's story so far...
iVendi's aim is simple, empower our clients through technology and empower our team through autonomy. Our back-end is predominantly written in C#, our domain is event sourced (essentially a log of all actions on our platforms).
Although we are predominantly a '.net' we do not follow everything Microsoft (if you want to work with Entity Framework or WCF, this is not the job for you). Our core services are written in C# however we embrace Open Source frameworks and packages such as NGINX, Nancy, GetEventStore, NSQ and ReactJS. Whilst you will have good knowledge of the .net framework and C#, you will also embrace the value of looking outside the gates. We encourage new ideas and the study of new technologies.
We run an internal technology training incubator to give everybody the opportunity to hone their skills, learn something new, to coach & mentor or just refresh their current understanding. We always operate in a relaxed working environment with flexibility around working hours and the ability to work with autonomy.
Personalisation of content in automotive buying and selling is really important. To do this you have to understand consumer buying behaviour. iVendi engages with around 4m car shoppers each month and utilises the data from these to provide insight to aid both car buyers with personalised journeys and sellers with unique insight.
As a Senior Data Engineer at iVendi you will own the data pipeline and will spearhead the data driven movement we're moving towards. In addition to owning our data pipeline you will be aware of industry best practices and trends and demonstrate a genuine passion for data.
