CIB Network Management - Network Information & Documentation (NID) Team Reporting Analyst

Department Description: J.P. Morgan Network Management are responsible for management of the firm's agent bank and financial market infrastructure relationships. The group covers the purchasing and ongoing oversight of securities (custody and clearing) and cash (payments and other foreign currency services) services for LOBs firm-wide. The team work closely with these banks, FMIs, and regulatory authorities in each country to identify market practices and rules associated with foreign investment.

Network Management supports the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), as well as other areas of the firm as needed, including Corporate Treasury, Asset & Wealth Management and the Commercial Bank. The group's key strengths lie in market knowledge, expertise in buying, and strong project management.

Background

The NID team is based in Bournemouth and is responsible for a number of key initiatives.
Documentation Projects:
The contracts space is constantly evolving as new requirements arrive and new systems are available. The successful candidate will be able to help steer the future direction, presenting the options to the lead team before working to rollout the changes.
Regulatory Reporting:
The successful candidate will be responsible for Recovery & Resolution reporting on behalf of Network Management, this will involve the full end-to-end process from creating/distributing the reports though to working with the LOB reps to obtain their signoff. All feedback will need to be incorporated back for future production.
Manage Agent Bank & FMI Volume & Value Information:
Investigating and understanding large amounts of data and how it maps/relates to the Agent Network.

Qualifications

Skills Required/To Be Developed

  • Presentation skills, able to present material to a senior audience and participate in discussions around the subject.
  • Comfortable with data, able to handle and summarise a large amount of data into understandable pieces
  • Eye for detail, the reports which are produced are used at a senior level and hence need to be correct
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a wider team, influencing where necessary with a flexible attitude to dealing with multiple tasks and limited supervision
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and SharePoint.
