We are a market leading Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology company specialising in the manufacture of life changing products.

Due to continued growth with have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join the highly motivated team based in Farnham.

Your role as our new Maintenance Engineer will be to provide both Mechanical and Electrical support to both facilities and all areas of manufacturing and their processes in clean rooms and controlled environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Routine preventative maintenance requirements for production and facility.

• Routine instrumentation across the facility.

• Repair of faulty production and facilities machinery and equipment such as boilers, compressors, motors and pumps.

• Diagnose, repair or replace control devices such as photocells, proximity sensors, switches and other devices as needed.

Education and Experience

• Electro-Mechanical Engineering Qualification - HND, HNC, C & G or a time served apprenticeship

• Experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of fault finding and repair in electrical and mechanical

• Significant hands on technical experience working with Instrumentation, controls and calibration equipment.

Good safety awareness of electric, compressed air and pressurised systems

• IT literate and able to navigate systems

• Excellent time management skills

• Conversant with relevant standards and methods employed with calibration activities.

• Ability to maintain a high standard of documentation as well as good verbal communication.

• Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and PLC's (Desirable)
