SEND Teaching Assistant (ASD) - Bexley

Autism support Teaching Assistant needed in Bexley to support KS2

Engage Education are working closely with an Ofsted rated Good with Outstanding features primary school in Bexley to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who can support a pupil with autism.

This position will be on a full time basis starting in September 2019 for the rest of the academic year with the potential to continue in the new academic year on a permanent basis.

The school has recently received confirmation that the pupil is eligible for an EHCP. This particular pupil needs 1:1 support in the classroom, personal care and help integrating with other pupils. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with experience of working with Autism (ASC) on a one to one basis in a similar capacity, with particular focus on Social and Emotional Needs.

The School is located close to Bexley station and is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the surrounding areas. They have very good professional development opportunities and a very supportive and experienced SENCO as well as close links to other schools in the surrounding area.
