Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
E COMMERCE:•Ensure the site is maintained and updated so as to maximize customer engagement on the site. Manage content to support the Direct Marketing Team.•Manage and maximize opportunities to increase targeted traffic to the website through a variety of marketing channels including; affiliates, PPC, SEO, email, display etc.•Review weekly KPIs and web analytics to identify opportunities and make commercial decisions to optimise conversion and drive sales•Awareness of detailed knowledge and expertise regarding to online transactions; from customer acquisition techniques to website usability to secure payment processes.•Responsibility for managing 3rd party resellers, and ensure their marketing compliments our Direct Marketing activities.•Develop the web as a marketing tool in conjunction with the wider Direct Marketing team. Support direct marketing practice regards to paid-for content (premium print subs, standalone digital subs, etc)•Effective communication of available functionality to the business with regards current e commerce infrastructure.•Continual refine and optimize the customer experience through to purchase, to improve conversion rates.•Ensure fraudulent transactions are regularly reviewed and appropriate settings are made to fraud prevent techniques.•Leading and executing all marketing communications for the campaign •Managing the campaigns on-line activity: Google Adwords, Webmaster tools and Google analytics.•Management of Email marketing: E-mail Newsletter designing, creating campaigns and managing them•Management of social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedinTEAM MANAGMENT AND COMMUNICATION:•Take responsibility for the management and ongoing coaching of e commerce team members in line with core skills / competencies identified for the roles within best practice guidelines.•Lead key projects and ensure effective implementation of those delegated to other team members.•Work closely and develop relationship with fulfilment bureau and other third parties. SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:•Generate new main key accounts and achieve and grow targets with key accounts•Manage and monitor orders, sales and shipments.•Analyse customer demographics and purchasing behaviour to monitor trends and future sales growth•Regularly review competitive websites in terms of product range, marketing initiatives, and functionality and customer offerings (delivery costs/lead-times, packaging etc)
CUSTOMER SERVICE:•Ensure all service criteria are met investigating any anomalies with the warehouse or credit and report back to customers.•Manage and monitor undelivered orders, credit notes, refunds, exchanges, customer emailsLOGISTICS:•Manage relationship with courier companies to ensure rates and services are competitive.•Ensure courier companies invoices are monitored especially for abnormal weights/volumetric freight costs•Review annually carrier/postage, packaging and delivery options costs and efficiencyMERCHANDISING:•In coordination with VPO Marketing Communication Manager, select new season images and produce copy for product description and prices ensuring all details are correct.•Prepare and write copy for all mailer campaigns in conjunction with collaboration with VPO Marketing Communication Manager.•Monitor sales, stock and gross margin report by division, concept and product group, for review with Merchandising/Retail operations.Skills & competencies: •Strong trading focus with ability to drive revenues and profit. •Strong management and people skills with an ability to manage positive change. •Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with high level of proficiency working across multi-functional teams to create and unblock commercial growth roadblocks and create new pathways. •Attention to detail with excellent process, strategy development and implementation skills. •Excellent understanding of project management and customer requirements in marketing/business development and consultancy environments. •Strong negotiation and empathy skills in order to achieve change and win relationships. •Commercial acumen with an excellent understanding of financial reporting. •Creative flair and ability to tackle problems from alternative perspectives. •Ability to take ideas, create a business case and motivate a team to deliver.
Required Experience:•Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent• 7-8 years of experience in commercial industry•Proven performer in a B2B/Retail sales environment and an ability to demonstrate where you have been successful.•Background in a fashion environment.
