We now have an opportunity available for an inspirational and motivational individual to join us as our Head of Studies for Construction.

This is an exciting time to join the Group following the merger with Stockport College and represents a fantastic opportunity to drive transformational change for the students, employers and communities of Stockport and Trafford.

The Head of Studies for Construction will manage a large curriculum department that delivers Brickwork, Carpentry & Joinery, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Plumbing & Motor Vehicle. Your role will be to ensure high quality teaching, learning and assessment and to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the Construction department.

As part of this role there will be a requirement to deliver some teaching.You will also be responsible for the management of staff, finances and physical resources across the department.

Experience of leading a team of educational practitioners within a further educational setting is essential. You should also have significant experience of raising standards of curriculum delivery and outcomes for learners as well as strategic curriculum planning.
