Account Manager - Telecom Sales


Negotiable Basic Salary (DOE)

Uncapped Commission

I am currently recruiting for a leading provider of business to business communications, offering a range of connectivity solutions, telephony products, and Telecommunication Products and Services to businesses of all sizes. With over 20 years in the business telecoms industry and an unrivalled reputation of delivering excellent, personal customer service, they are one of very few companies in the UK able to provide a full telecoms, IT and energy consultancy and service proposition. With 220 employees across 10 offices they are passionate about technology and have a clear and concise vision - to become the largest and most influential technology partner for small to medium sized businesses across the UK.

Reporting directly to the Sales manager this position encompasses overall responsibility for all prospects and clients across the client base. This position requires clear communication, co-ordination and management to ensure clients expectations are maintained.

To be considered for this Account Management role you will need to have previous sales experience within the telecoms, an Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills and experience cold calling and winning new business.

What we are Looking for?

·Previous sales experience within the telecommunication sector would be an advantage

·Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills

·Target driven with a hunger to succeed and progress

·Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Highly organised, motivated and driven to work on improving and developing the commercial side of this ever-expanding business

·B2B experience would be an advantage working in a similar role

·A passion for selling with a natural motivation towards targets, or an aptitude to move into this environment

·A professional telephone manner, able to communicate with senior level decision makers

Main Responsibilities:

·Knowledge of accounts, maximising resigns, understanding where productivity benefits can be gained and identifying opportunities to cross sell other products

·Work alongside the Commercial and Account Management teams in relation to all deal calculations for re-signs and new product deployment, contract preparation and commercial deal analysis

·Build up a good understanding of the product portfolio

·Prioritise, plan and manage workload when faced with multiple tasks and work to monthly deadlines and targets

·Establish and maintain relationships at the relevant levels with internal and external customers which may from time to time include off site visits

·Handling customer complaints should they arise

·Gain a high-level competency on new and existing in-house systems & workflows
