Why this role matters • To assure the monitoring, validation and reconciliation of order fallouts through strategic exception management tools. • To ensure order exceptions are handled timely, complete and accurate in addition to promoting customer confidence through robust control improvements. • To promote margin improvement and accuracy through robust margin reconciliations between Order through to Billing systems for all products and services. • To assure the implementation and integration of custom scripts to recover and/or re-process failed orders in systems. • Lead as an expert in Root cause analysis, error management and requirement gathering for strategic fixes. • To work closely with Product, Technology and Finance units, supporting change initiatives that will reduce revenue leakage, measurably reduce costs and therefore increase margin. Also, as a result, then aim to improve organisational efficiency and productivity • Supporting the Billing Dispute team, through transformational programmes that drive efficiencies and or process system improvements that reduce disputes that they receive. What you'll be doing • Experience in revenue assurance, billing, networks, engineering and procurement systems and processes. • In-depth Openreach products knowledge and experience in FLOW MQ technology, BAL and Atlantis. • In depth experience on technical expertise like SQL Server, Oracle 11g, Unix, Linux and ETL Tools. • Advanced level of knowledge in Openreach provisioning systems. • Experience of interrogating Openreach billing (Atlantis), Openreach Order/Provisioning/Other systems (CSS, Flow, Siebel, Phoenix) including Openreach DWH solutions (including OrBiT). • Experience on WeDo RAID. • Advanced level of MS Access & Excel skills that can clearly be demonstrated through practical application, which should include items such as pivot tables, advanced formulae VBA, full utilization of access objects etc. • Advanced level in other Microsoft applications like MS Visio, PowerPoint, InfoPath, OneNote and Word. • Ability to document complex process and controls including process mapping exercise. • Experience with management information and financial systems. • Project and virtual team Management. We'll also need to see these on your CV • Typically, Degree level or equivalent • Analytical/technical qualifications and or extensive relevant business experience • Expert in HTML script-based tools • Proficiency in SQL and Unix language Desirable • Complex Project Management experience • Oracle Certified Associate Why choose us?
