Due to ongoing growth, Radius Payment Solutions, a leading global fleet management company, are looking for a Purchase Reconciliation Assistant to join our finance team at our head office in Crewe.

As a Reconciliation Assistant joining the Radius Commercial Finance team you will directly contribute to Radius continued success by providing vital support in the control and risk management of the Fuel Purchases made by Radius. Provide continuous support to the Purchase Reconciliation Manager and all areas of the organisation through timely and accurate reconciliation and process developments.

What will you be doing as a Purchase Reconciliation Assistant?

Provide vital support in the control of the Radius Fuel Purchases in Ireland.

Typical work responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of the UK and Ireland bulk diesel and other fuel product purchase invoices, chasing up both pricing and quantity variances, with internal departments and external suppliers, oil companies and sites, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that variances are dealt with as quickly as possible, appropriate action is taken and that issues are fully communicated timely, clearly and in line with agreed procedures to your manager.
  • Develop existing processes and systems to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the reconciliation process.
  • Ensuring the estimated cost price calculated by the commercial team agrees within approved criteria to the supplier cost price per the invoice.
  • Develop good day to day working relationships with our key suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Finance department, assisting in the management & reconciling of the fuel accruals and prepayments figure in Sage, in particular ensuring that that the accruals and prepayments list is complete and accurate.
