An Brilliant and Exciting New Opportunity has arisen for a HR Payroll Team Leader to join the HR Solutions area of our large FTSE250 organisation. You will manage and motivate a Team of 6-8 HR Payroll Administrators within Education Payroll Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Responsible for leading a team in the operational delivery of HR & Payroll services.

*Working as a key member of the HRS management team to ensure a compliant service is delivered and that quality and consistency is maintained in accordance with service level requirements.

*To promote and maintain positive relationships, and excellent customer service with the client and external agencies.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

*To be responsible for the team's operational delivery of a customer focused shared service, ensuring it meets deadlines and is accurate in line with business assurance best practice.

*To develop client relationships including the provision of management information, client reports and complaints procedure

*To manage and ensure a proactive approach is taken to resolve to customer service issues by seeking innovative solutions to resolve them and escalating issues where appropriate, and utilising the complaints procedure.

*To challenge, where appropriate, and advise the client on methodologies and techniques proposed and adopted

*To lead and motivate the team to provide a customer centric and professional service.

*To provide leadership, guidance, support and development to the team, including setting and monitoring standards and targets for the service and individuals in the teams.

*Performance management of the team using Capita standards including one to ones and coaching techniques.

*To provide effective communication within the team holding regular team meetings.

*Support Managers to ensure effective resourcing of the service

*To create the best possible experience for Capita clients and their customers to manage and respond to customer feedback to ensure all queries are resolved speedily and accurately.

*Provide management information to forecast the level of demand to the service for resource and skills required to fulfil the agreed KPI

*To role model and promote Capita values and policies and ensure team compliance

*Ensure all activities are undertaken to meet KPI/PI and in line with HR/Payroll specification.

*Ensure that any regulatory returns are run in line with statutory and regulatory requirements

*To maintain and develop the service to ensure deadlines and processes are streamlined and effective

*To develop action and maintain quality assurance processes to provide management reports.

*Working with the team to actively drive a culture of continuous improvement/ change within the team, seeking to improve services, performance, data and stakeholder feedback.

*To monitor daily workloads ensuring that work in progress is recorded so that effective resource planning is applied

*Ensure that all team queries are logged and reviewed for quality and accuracy

**Other tasks/activities may be assigned to the role dependant on service and business needs.

Education:

Good general attainment of education (5 GCSE grade A-C passes or equivalent, to include Maths and English)

Payroll Qualification (desirable) or a Minimum of 3 years or more working in Payroll or HR/Payroll
