Our fantastic, growing client based in Quedgeley, Gloucester have a new and exciting opportunity for a Data Entry Assistant to join their Payroll/Finance team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, willing and quick learner with high attention to detail. Although previous finance/payroll exposure would be desirable, our client would be happy to consider those candidates with accurate data entry experience and a really good eye for detail as full on the job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities;

- Assisting with the Coordination of Payroll for 300 employees on monthly payroll

- Assigning payroll numbers for payroll & CRM systems

- Calculating overtime hours at various rates for staff that are received on timesheets via email and entering on to template

- Recording staff sickness and holiday and recording on Excel Template

- Collating HR information on new starters and recording on Excel

- Issuing P45's

- Checking all information is correctly recorded, submitting to payment bureau, checking payslips from payment bureau

- Filing reports and issuing reports to Finance teams

- Uploading invoices on to, and managing, the customer portals

Candidate Attributes;

- Previous payroll exposure is desirable however not essential

- Accurate data entry

- Ability to spot discrepancies

- Ability to cope well under pressure and to deadlines

- Can work in a team and individually

- Computer literate

Hours; Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
