Tradewind Recruitment are working with a warm, creative and inclusive primary school in Stevenage who are seeking a teacher in Early Years, KS1 or KS2 to start full time in September and continue through to the end of the school year. The school are happy to make accommodations in the timetable to fit your needs and skillset, as they are keen to appoint committed, enthusiastic teacher who will fit into the school ethos and become part of their team on a permanent basis moving forward.

Our client is a two-form entry academy within a two-school trust, whose ethos is to develop children's life skills and curiosity about the world through a creative, expansive curriculum. They offer an extensive timetable of trips, special event days and cultural projects for all year groups, such as Space Week, historical re-enactment days and trips to local museums and historical sites. They are also a Forest School who promote outdoor learning and environmental awareness in their curriculum

In their last Ofsted (2015), their most significant strength was their contribution to the local community and relationships with parents- 'they overwhelmingly support the school and recognise how it has improved'. These strong community relationships foster an 'outstanding' standard of behaviour and mutual respect among students, who are keen to learn and cooperate with staff and peers alike.

The school are seeking a teacher who is:

• Creative, innovative and keen to support the school's commitment to an ever-expanding creative curriculum

• Able to model high standards of professionalism and maintain close, cooperative relationships with the parent community

• Keen to commit to a long-term career at a school which will support their continued professional development and career progression

You must hold QTS in order to apply for this role.

NQT's, experienced teachers and overseas trained teachers are welcome to apply. As the SLT at this school are particularly strong ('their passion to make the school the best it can be is tangible'- Ofsted 2015), this would be an excellent opportunity for an NQT seeking to be well supported in their first teaching job.

This school is based in Stevenage with free parking and convenient public transport access from Hitchin, Welwyn and other surrounding towns.
