Customer Researcher 27,000 - 34,000 plus benefits (Grade E) Manchester city centre We're looking for a customer researcher to join our data and insights team, and help us to capture the valuable insight that we need to allow us to better understand our customers, and provide them with products and services that truly meet their needs. As a customer researcher at the Co-op, you'll work with partners spanning the breadth of the business. Whether it's choosing the best labelling for a new wine product, or understanding what matters most to people in a Funeralcare provider, you'll make sure that the customer is at the forefront of every decision we make. You'll collaborate with external agencies to carry out carefully thought out research activity, presenting the results back to internal partners to share insights that'll help them to positively impact to our customer offerings. What you'll do manage multiple end-to-end research projects from different areas of the business (up to a dozen at any one time deepening on business needs) take briefings from internal partners to gain an in-depth understanding of their research needs work collaboratively with external agencies to create and deliver research projects that reflect specific business requirements undertake some independent research projects when required visit colleagues / customers in the field, attending focus groups and other research activities and monitoring the progress of projects use data to draw out valuable insights, and present this to internal partners in a way that brings to life what customers are saying This role would suit people who have previously worked in a similar role in a research agency experience of dealing with both quantitative and qualitative research a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to collaborate with teams across different areas of the business the ability to expertly present complex information in an engaging way a knack for using data to tell a story an MRS (Market Research Society) Advanced Certificate would be preferable Why Co-op?
