An opportunity for a Category manager has become available with a leading business based in the Birmingham.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Kidderminster, Worcester

Salary up to £45,000 plus a range of benefits

The main purpose of the role is to take full responsibility of your assigned category across the business.

Some duties include:
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • Contract administration and category management
  • Ability to use ERP platforms
  • Ensure compliance throughout the procurement process and deal with any
  • Category management and savings reporting
  • Negotiating contracts to ensure best terms and prices

To be considered for this role you will have category management experience within the Highways/Maintenance or construction sector.

Being an experienced buyer or procurement professional you will have excellent internal stakeholder management experience along with great negotiating skills.

Pre-contract and post-contract procurement experience would be beneficial.
