Ofsted rated Good Special Educational Needs School in East London is recruiting for a permanent English SEN Teacher. This is a full time & permanent position to start in September 2019.

Senior Leadership Team has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted. They are excellent practitioners, approachable and incredibly down to earth. Welcoming & helpful staff who all work well and are incredibly supportive. The teaching at this SEN school is 'Good' to 'Outstanding' & as such all new teaching staff will need to follow suit. The school specialises in social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Pupils range from primary to secondary ages & essentially they respond well to open-minded, approachable, consistent & empathetic staff.

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for either a MPS or UPS (+SEN points) English Teacher / Teacher of English for a full time and permanent September 2019 appointment.
This great SEN school is recruiting for either a qualified SEN or mainstream Teacher of English / English Teacher (Inner London MPS or UPS (+SEN). They are looking for an all-round good to outstanding SEN Teacher of English / English Teacher who has experience working with Special Educational Needs pupils who have challenging & emotional behaviour. You will have taught through the Key Stages with exceptional knowledge of the UK curriculum. The successful practitioner must be able to effectively plan, teach and deliver creative, fun and engaging lessons! You will be able to successfully motivate your pupils effectively. Lastly it is imperative that you will also have compassion and understanding for your pupils, where you can make a positive impact in their lives!

* You have a UK recognised SEN or Mainstream English Teacher certificate( PGCE/ QTS / GTPetc)

* Your English teaching experience must be in English Literature & Language in a mainstream SEN school (NOT ESL/EAL/ EFL/TEFL /ESOL etc post)

* You have taught English at Primary and/or Secondary levels

* Excellent knowledge & experience teaching of the UK curriculum

* Your SEN teaching experience has been with challenging behaviour pupil ( ieSEMH, ASD, EBD, etc)

* Inner London MPS or UPS Teacher

* Consistent, empathetic, dedicated and strong classroom practitioner

* Effective at motivating your pupils by teaching fun and engaging lessons
