Technical Team Leader

Are you an experienced 2nd/3rd line IT Engineer looking to lead a team of 2nd line Engineers?
Do you have previous team management experience?
Are you able to perform tasks to high detail as well as provide a high level of efficient customer service?

Then this Technical Team Lead role is for you!

My client is a well-established MSP, that have offices all over the world. They are looking for a technical team lead based in London. The technical team lead role requires you to provide technical support to clients based within the IT delivery team.

The right candidate will have hands on experience of working on a 2nd line service desk. As it is a client facing role, excellent communication skills and customer service is a must.

Key Duties:
  • Line Management of a team of two 2nd line engineers
  • Continuously provide service improvement initiatives
  • Ticketing referrals from service desk to on site resources
  • Ongoing training of Onsite resources
  • Server administration
  • Desktop support


  • Understanding of business processes and compliance
  • Experience working on a 2nd line service desk
  • All round understanding of hardware maintenance and break/fix
  • Active directory
  • Customer support skills

Desirable certifications:
  • CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, ACSP, VCP, CompTIA A+/N+/Server+
