Special needs support staff - Southend
Strategy Education are looking for support staff with good behaviour management who are committed to making a positive difference and seeing young people's lives turned around.
We are working with a school in Southend who are looking for behaviour specialists.
The students range from 5 -16 years and are in alternative provisions and specialist schools.
With your experience in behaviour management SEN / SEMH/ ADHD/Autism you could help young people reach their full potential and you will be working either with small groups, 1:1 in the classroom or on an outreach programme.
You will need to be a reflective practitioner with -
Excellent knowledge of the needs of SEN children and how best to support them. Relevant training in SEN needs is desirable but not essential.
Some knowledge about a range of interventions and their impact on meeting the needs of children with an EHCP.
Proven abilities in supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
The ability to help deliver creative and innovative lessons to engage the most reluctant of learners.
Experience of de-escalation techniques would be a distinct advantage but not necessary.
These roles are for an immediate start and are ongoing contracts in the Southend area.
