The role will require strong communication and leadership skills as many engagements will be in relation to cross-functional, departmental strategic initiatives, and require close partnership with global stakeholders.

The relevant individual will need to have a strong technical aptitude, innovative engineering mentality and continuous improvement mindset, as well as an interest in emerging technology.

Key responsibilities:
  • Participates regularly in large scale global projects and leads small to medium size initiatives in support of strategic business, regulatory or operational objectives
  • Conducts in-depth research and analysis and facilitates the process of defining business requirements
  • Communicates regularly with a variety of audiences, including presentation of requirements and analytical findings
  • Facilitates the change management process of key strategic initiatives
  • Partners with teams to integrate, stabilize and continuously improve processes to realize efficiencies and mitigate risk to enable scale in existing operations
  • Advances the use of self-service technology and data analysis tools to improve processes, automate workflow and enable business adoption
  • Provides leadership, guidance and support to more junior business analysts, and direct analysis tasks to move forward and meet deliverables
  • May serve as a solution designer within a specific product or capability, working with SMEs and key partners to analyze a problem and design new, or significantly enhanced, solutions that are elegant, optimized, re-usable and flexible

  • Experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in asset management
  • Experience across a number of different products/capabilities and/or teams
  • Demonstrates broad working knowledge of standard processes, tools, and deliverables for business analysis and project management; including process mapping, process design, and requirements gathering
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
  • Prior experienced of working as a Product Owner or Solution Designer
  • Demonstrates ability to lead and manage projects of varying complexity; often small to medium initiatives within a team or multiple teams.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the investment management industry
  • Experience of working within a global environment, within cross-functional teams, partnering and influencing stakeholders across the globe
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity, whilst skilled at problem solving and developing practical solutions in a technical environment
  • Demonstrates advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience of enhancing processes through the design and implementation of Automation/Financial Technology (FinTech)
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) required
