Bicester Store Manager
The ideal person will have worked in the furniture business before with a knowledge of manual handling Health & Safety practices and be physically fit with no historical back problems as lifting is required as part of the job role. After a qualifying period, you will be managing our busy Bicester Furniture Store where you will be expected to attend to our diverse customer needs, be totally customer focussed, collate customer orders and answer telephone enquiries and emails. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and be competent with a Windows based Computer. You will be a good communicator, be a logical thinker, be able to think on your feet and possess a good knowledge of the local area as well as be a team player as you will be responsible for 2 part-time staff and will be expected to liaise with our Banbury store and delivery team. You will be directly responsible to our General Manager. Monthly paid. 28 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays. Staff discount scheme after qualifying period. Friendly team atmosphere. Annual Performance Related Bonus. Hours of work are 42 hours/week, over 5 days, including working one day at the weekend and you will have a day off during the week.
