Our international client provide expert services in investment management, accountancy, tax, corporate and financial advice. They are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to cover maternity leave initially on a 6 month contract. The Operations Manager will perform supervisory /managerial duties within operational tax functions ensuring full compliance with various tax reporting regulations.   • Maintain up to date knowledge on relevant tax regulations through review of HMRC guidance, bulletins and IRS guidance notes
  • Work closely with technical support, settlement operations and investment front office to implement procedural changes and IT system enhancements
  • Ensure regulatory reporting deadlines are met through regular liaison with external global tax teams
  • Regularly interact with internal and external Audit to ensure compliance reviews are completed on time
  • Ensure all team tasks (team of 3) are documented and completed to meet deadlines
  • Provide technical support to assist in completing complex queries
  • Work with senior management in ensuring all team procedures are documented, reviewed and updated
  • Ensure all contact with internal and external clients are dealt with in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide MI on KPI's and KRI's

Key Skills/Experience Required:



  • Some settlement operations experience within Financial Services
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to investment management and preferably settlement operations
  • Supervisory experience would be beneficial
  • Strong communication experience - written & verbal
  • Some projects/change management experience
