Account Manager

Up to £35k + bonus, company car, pension, laptop, phone, Life Insurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

My client is a leading UK and European industrial MRO product supplier and service provider, seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join their team and generate new business through providing added value solutions into manufacturing corporate organisations.

The Account Manager will expand the existing business base through concentrated market penetration into new and existing sectors:
  • Develop a full customer understanding and tailor added value solutions to satisfy client needs.
  • Ensure new business targets are achieved.
  • Generate leads and appointments.
  • Effectively manage a diary to maximise productivity.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Manage the process from securing order through to implementation with client.
  • An ambassador for the organisation and cross sell services offered by other parts of the Company.

The Account Manager will have the freedom to develop this role, so self-motivation, initiative and the desire to succeed are all prerequisite. In addition you should be:
  • Able to demonstrate successful and proven track record in solution selling and key account management with industrial manufacturers.
  • Familiar with maintenance, repair and operations consumables such as tools, PPE, abrasives, adhesives, office supplies, safety equipment, electrical components and other engineering consumables.
  • Experienced in winning new business through adding value together with value proposition development and sales pipe-line management.
  • Confident and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in engineering consumables, industrial supplies, PPE or MRO sectors would be an advantage but above all we are looking for an exceptional individual with the flare and determination to succeed.
