Our client is a marketing agency based in Berkshire. They specialise in creating content for large international companies in the tech and finance sectors. Due to picking up several new clients, they're looking for a Middleweight Copywriter to join their close-knit team.

Are you unperturbed by complex topics like smart cities, AI, and cloud computing? Can you talk to product managers and translate what you learn into compelling copy that will impress a CEO? If you've got the talent, they'll provide you with the support to build your skills and experience.

They're looking for a copywriter with two years or more experience who can demonstrate that they can pick up new subjects quickly and write clear, engaging copy.

They don't expect you to be an expert in everything they write about, but you'll need to be a quick learner who's good at staying up to date with fast-moving trends.

Specifically, they're looking for somebody who's:

Versatile. Your portfolio should show that you can produce excellent copy across a range of different mediums. You could be writing a PowerPoint presentation one day and helping research and write a whitepaper the next.

Meticulous. Quality control is very important to them. You'll be checking your own work as well as your colleagues' work for accuracy, grammar, spelling and sense. You should be able to spot a typo or double-space a mile away.

Data savvy. Part of the job is to find the compelling stories within data-typically from surveys we've managed, but it could be from anywhere. They expect a minimum of grade B GCSE, or equivalent, in Mathematics.

Professional. Once you've learnt the ropes, you'll be talking directly with clients-to take briefs, provide updates and go through feedback-so you'll need to have a professional manner and good communication skills.

Resilient. We're a busy agency so you'll need to be good at working to deadlines and take feedback on your work in your stride-They'll always try to make sure it's constructive and will help you improve your skills
