Our new partner is a big player in the local residential and commercial property development scene and requires a dedicated and multi-skilled accounts professional to join its growing operations team.

Role Purpose

This new opportunity will place the successful candidate in a vital role within the larger accounts function; initally to oversee the transition from outsourced payroll to an in-house arrangement, including the creation of any relevant checks and balances.

Beyond this, the role will demand an overarching responsibility for the bookikeeping, ledger accounts, reconciliations, invoicing and credit control practices, and will therefore attract a generalist accountancy professional looking to work across mutiple disciplines supporting a succesful fast-paced building and property improvements firm.

Someone qualified to AT LEAST AAT Level 3.

This varied role will require a commercially-aware candidate, ideally with a significant amount of experience gained within an industrial accountants setting and who is used to reacting to business requirements with speed and efficiency.

End to end, complete company payroll working knowledge and experience

Experience required/desired

* Good demonstratable all-round accountancy knowledge and experience

* Extensive commercial payroll and bookkeeping experience

* Some experience in credit control and aged debtor management would be an advantage

* In depth knowledge of Sage payroll software

* Good supplier invoicing and reconciliation knowledge

* An ability to communicate effectively at all business levels

* An ability to respond positively to working within a pressurised, ever-changing environment

You will be

* Qualified to at least AAT Level 3

* A high performing generalist accountancy professional with end-to-end company payroll experience

* A team player, happy to contribute to the common cause

* Determined and career-driven

* Flexible and happy to operate outside of the standard job description

* A driver with your own transport
