Your new role
Working alongside the Director of Operational Excellence you will manage a team of 6 specialist as you create continuous improvement and agile delivery to processes and projects at the core of our business. You'll bring your knowledge of Six Sigma principles to modernise and increase the performance of the services and support we provide to writers and editors across the publishing industry.

With full autonomy over the Operational Excellence team you'll lead an Agile e approach by running sprints, hosting stand-ups and SCRUM's and promoting continuous improvement throughout delivery. It's not all process and procedure - you'll work alongside a high performing team with a flexible approach as you support leaders of the publishing industry.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you'll display a passion for making impactful change through strategic operational improvement. Your background will cover some understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Agile, and demonstrable experience of line managing a small team. An inherent approach to continuous improvement and the ability to present new ideas and research to senior stakeholders will help you in your role. Previous experience in the publishing industry isn't required but an interest in literature or research will help you integrate in our company.
