Location: Sheffield (with occasional travel to London)
Salary: £48K per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL) are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Systems Manager to take ownership of our Oracle implementation and continue with ongoing improvement and development in-line with GFSL's strategic plan.

You will be responsible for overseeing the longer-term plan to deliver an optimised ERP system for the Facilities Management service we provide in the prison environment.

GFSL is a Ministry of Justice owned non-profit making company who supply facilities management services to c50 prisons over the South of the UK. Having formed in February 2018, GFSL has prospered in supplying quality services to all of its establishments. With a staff count of c1400 we strive to be the FM employer of choice.

We are looking for an exceptional Systems Manager or owner, ideally with Oracle Fusion or another ERP, with experience of supporting the operational use, procedural best practice and theory of how the system could be used.

The post holder will be upskilled and trained with Oracle contractors to learn about our setup and configuration of Oracle with a view to taking on system responsibility from them when we have cemented BAU status and the initial setup is complete.

You will ultimately become the oracle 'super user' which will include working unaided for large parts of the week, escalating major issues to the head of IT but always working to improve the system for the wider business, taking into account targets and key restraints within the business.

As a successful candidate you'll be able to demonstrate that you can work effectively with key stakeholders and suppliers who will include Oracle, GFSL Senior Management, MOJ Digital, IBM, Ops and SLT.

Your day to day duties will include, but not be limited to managing the quarterly releases from Oracle, making sure they do not cause any issues or unforeseen changes in the way we work as well as working with the teams to roll out any new functionality that may be needed. You will also be working against an ongoing list of Oracle service requests that you will own to make sure they are resolved, and that any new requests get logged and managed to completion.

GFSL are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of setting strategic goals and communicating what you feel is required for the business at all levels.
