Lead and Facilitate in Business Process Improvement plans and activities which are required to make stepped improvements and contributing to the site KPI and cost reduction requirements. Conduct Non Value Added/Waste Elimination Activities identified by plant operations personnel to ensure projects are delivered in the most efficient and timely way, on time and in budget. Encouraging collaborative working cross functionally to optimise project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in all team engagement to drive, facilitate and improve our Continuous Improvement standards and a safety first culture.
  • Deliver Improvement projects that are completed on time, within budget and to the required performance/quality (QCD) whilst balancing the needs and expectations of customers and all stakeholders.
  • Build links between functions in region and division sharing best practice to improve operational performance at sites supporting the Divisional Improvements Manager.
  • Conduct assist in any Quality Improvement Activities to ensure the Company achieves its Cost of Quality Targets, and maintains Customer Satisfaction.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping Analysis to assist in the identification of Continuous Improvement Targets throughout the company.
  • Assist communicating the EOS system ensuring it is communicated, employed and sustained.
  • Develop Workshop Management standards and site culture e.g. 5S, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, PPS
  • Control and monitor the Improvement Ideas strategy assisting in projects where applicable.
  • Conduct data analysis on the production system to highlight improvements through SMED

Skills, qualifications and/or experience:
  • Expertise in CI / Kaizen tools and techniques
  • Green Belt
  • Demonstrable experience in manufacturing
  • Good Communicator and confidence to learn Lean facilitation skills, therefore running improvement workshops.
  • To be able to work within teams and lead teams to gain business improvements.

Desirable:
  • Project management
  • Trained Facilitator
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously and within team environments
  • 3 years experience in : Print, Cut & Crease or Gluing Operations
