We are excited to be supporting the Systems Engineering team with a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the team at the ASM UK Headquarters, Weymouth.

The Opportunity

We have opportunities to join this amazing business within the Systems Engineering team. Working as part of a highly engaged function, you will examine, document and propose technical engineering solutions to meet the needs of our internal and external customers. You will bring your skills to our team where you will be actively involved in producing documentation that defines our project technical requirements for new world-class products.

Communicating with our customers and project teams to elicit and document the technical requirements of project are vital. The successful candidate will provide a customer perspective to the development team regarding product functionality throughout the development lifecycle, as well as other areas of responsibility.

About You

We are growing our team and are looking for proactive systems engineering professionals. We are happy to train and develop you to be the best (and have a great team to support you!) In return you will bring the following skills and experience to us:
  • A proven track record with hands-on practical experience in an Engineering Development discipline for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at various levels in an organization.
  • Able to understand detailed mechanical, electrical, software and test requirements of a project and balance them against practical design limitations.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of managing and completing complex projects.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
