Our Berkshire based client are urgently seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their growing software development team. The client are a Technology Company who build cloud-based .NET software solutions. They are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer who can fit in with an "engineering-first" culture and one where the latest software engineering tools are utilised.

The ideal Lead Full Stack Engineer will be someone with leadership qualities and also experience building complex software using clear reusable code and also This company are very well formed and are "technology-driven" and "engineering-led", meaning that the new Lead Full Stack Engineer will require an up-to-date skillset and enjoy working the latest software tools and platforms.

If successful, the Lead Full Stack Engineer will lead a highly Agile team, focussing on product excellence and high engineering standards. The Lead Full Stack Engineer will also enjoy a flexible and relaxed working environment, with the potential of some home (remote) working and opportunities in the near future to grow an mould your own team!

Technical Expertise:
  • Technically gifted software engineer with leadership qualities
  • MS SQL and LINQ
  • JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Have an in-depth understanding of SOLID and DRY principles
  • RESTful and Web API design, build and use
  • Database design and architecture
  • Some experience working in one or more test automation frameworks
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Broad understanding of the tech landscape, and stay on top of developments and new technology.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Participate in product development from ideation/inception to deployment and beyond
  • Develop an API-driven, scalable architecture with code that is well documented and tested.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineers, product owners and designers to solve challenging problems
  • Grow the technical expertise of your team
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch ground-breaking new features
  • Take part in technology decisions and architecture discussions, advocate for engineering best practices (CI, testing, operational efficiency etc.)
  • Work with UX team- making products more intuitive to use
  • Support continuous testing efforts through test automation
