The Head Teacher at a mixed comprehensive secondary school, based in the Eccles region of Salford is in the process of shortlisting for a full-time Science teacher to join their Science faculty from January 2020 (or earlier if possible).

Pay in line with MPS/UPS £24,373 - £40,490 per annum.The incoming Science teacher will boast access to excellent opportunities with support in building and progressing within your career. The faculty compromises 8 laboratories, a large main prep room and classrooms with access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. All full time Biology teachers within the department have their own classrooms, including office space and a variety of resources which are provided.

The responsibilities for the successful Science teacher will include but may not be limited to;

Plan, resource and deliver dynamic Science lessons to the highest standard, ensuring pupils have the tools required to make rapid sustainable progress.
Plan and prepare effective teaching schemes and lessons in line with national curriculum and schemes of work.
Use regular assessments in order to assess and set targets for pupils to monitor progress and respond accordingly.The school is located between Salford and Bury and boasts just over 800 pupils enrolled, aged 11-16. The school is ideally situated to be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bolton, Trafford and Wigan. There are also excellent public transport links readily available with access across Greater Manchester.
