The Headteacher and Governors within this renowned secondary school are seeking to appoint a passionate Mathematics teacher to join their reputable faculty on a full time basis from January 2020 or earlier, to cover a permanent member of staff within the Maths department who is set to go on maternity leave.

Full time Mathematics teacher, required for a maternity leave.
Commencing January 2020 or earlier for 12 months.
Must hold QTS or equivalent to be considered.

Located in Salford, accessible via the A580.
Pay in line with MPS/UPS £24,373 - £40,490.The school was newly refurbished and boasts outstanding facilities for students and staff, who can benefit from excellent provisions for learning, including state of the art IT resources. The school currently has over 800 pupils on roll aged 11- 16 and the Maths department has seen consistent improvement in terms of achievement in line with national averages.

As the incoming Mathematics teacher you can expect to join a supportive staff team dedicated in the progression of their pupils, your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to;

Accountable to Curriculum Leader during and throughout post.
Promote outstanding pedagogy across the school board, and demonstrate outstanding practice.
Identify clear objectives and content within Maths for all pupils including how these will be taught, evaluated and assessed.
Organise a stimulating and inspiring learning environment.
Ensure regulations regarding Health and Safety are maintained both within the Maths department and the school.Salford is easily accessible via the A580 as well as the surrounding areas; Bolton, Wigan, and Preston. There are also various public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester. Our client school is a large, modern secondary school in Salford, bordering the area of neighbouring Bolton.
