Are you a qualified Music teacher looking for a new teaching role at the earliest opportunity? Do you have experience teaching Music across both Key Stages 3 & 4?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Salford to aid them in recruiting a full-time Music teacher starting at the earliest opportunity for one term, with the potential to continue on.

Full-time temporary Music teaching role for one term, with a possibility of continuation.
Teaching Music across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
Must hold subject specific qualifications within Music.
Pay in line with teaching scale point (£24,373 - £40,490 per annum).
Supporting students at various levels of learning within the Music department.
Both experienced and newly qualified Music teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided for the successful Music teacher.
Opportunity to work in a 'Good' Ofsted rated secondary school.Working as a Music teacher in our client school, responsibilities will include:

Support with the development of schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum for Music.
Assessing and evaluating class work reporting back to Senior Leaders in order to take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives in Music.
Planning, preparing and delivering Music lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
Guiding pupils with challenging behaviour or learning difficulties and implement strategies to help manage this behaviour.
Promoting positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.Our client secondary school is looking for a Music teacher who can aid pupils' attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills. Our client secondary school does provide excellent behavioural support for their staff however; any experience with behaviour management training, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties will be highly valued.

Our client secondary school is located in Salford and can be accessed via the M602 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Wigan. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bolton, Eccles and central Manchester.
