The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the Aviva Investors Brand and Propositions team on a 6-month fixed term contract to cover a sabbatical. Based in London the role will provide key support to the Head of Strategic Marketing on the planning and execution of brand, product and digital marketing campaigns. They will also help to shape and drive forward strategic initiatives to drive consideration for Aviva Investors on a global scale.

The Team

• Working in cross-functional team to co-ordinate all paid media across multiple channels and regions to effectively deploy budgets and maximise spend

• Work in conjunction with the channel marketing teams to plan and execute integrated strategic brand and product campaigns and initiatives across the full communication platform to support brand and product extension across key market segments

• Set campaign KPIs and analyse effectiveness of campaigns against KPIs

• Manage day-to-day relationships with creative, media and research agencies in the efficient delivery of campaigns and meet requirements of the Procurement & Outsourcing standard

• Negotiating feedback from across multiple internal stakeholders to ensure varied input is reconciled against strategic intent and objectives

• Test messaging, advertising creative, content and customer journeys pre-campaign to gather audience feedback

• Manage budgets to drive maximum value for Aviva Investors

• Challenge and improve processes as appropriate

• Manage global marketing awards calendar, ensuring all relevant awards are captured and submission owners are agreed. Write and submit strategic campaign entries in a timely fashion.



• Marketing and digital experience within financial services ideally asset management

• Understanding of digital marketing and campaign/project management across multiple distribution channels

• Experience in B2B marketing environments preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, globally

• Flexible and comfortable working in a fluid and matrixed environment

• Strong planning and organisational skills
