Please note this is a joint post working on behalf of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) to lead the implementation of the new Birmingham and Solihull Community Respiratory Team.We are looking for a dynamic leader with strong project and programme management skills to help drive forward the system's plans for a new Community Respiratory Team (CRT) in Birmingham and Solihull.The CRT Programme is a redesign of community respiratory services in order to:Ensure we have an equitable service across Birmingham and Solihull for community respiratory careSupport prevention and early intervention - the proposals support early diagnosis and individualised care planning (under the mandate of the NHS Long Term Plan) and treatment through a multi-disciplinary approach to respiratory careCreate a resilient community workforce through an integrated approach to service delivery, aligned to Primary Care NetworksThe key stakeholder organisations involved in this programme are University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group and local General Practice.This temporary post is an exciting opportunity for a senior project or programme manager who has strong influencing skills and can develop strong relationships to help navigate the component parts of the system which are integral to the successful delivery of the new CRT.
