Sewell Wallis are currently working with a dynamic business based in Leeds. This is a varied and interesting role for any accountants that have an interest in sports.

The role will be a mix of management accounting alongside forecasting and budget analysis.

Reporting into the Head of Finance supporting them with the management and development of a small finance team.

*Produce monthly management accounts for the group.
*Liaise with department heads within the organisation to provide meaningful commentary on the accounts and valuable insight into their budget areas.
*Provide detailed accounts analysis for both finance and other departments as required.
*Support the Head of Finance in producing the year end statutory accounts for the group.
*Work with various teams for to monitor performance against budgets.
*Liaise with local and national funding bodies.
*Line manage two members of the finance team, providing support as needed in relation to the ledgers.
*Prepare and submit company VAT Returns.
*Drive positive change within the department in terms of efficiency and controls.
