The purpose of the Sales Ledger Manager would be to support the Transactional Team Manager in the running of the accountancy division in relation to all sales payments and invoices

Client Details

The client is public sector organisation looking to grow their accountancy team based in central Birmingham.

Description

As a Sales Ledger Manager your key responsibilities will be the following;
  • Adherence to processing timetable
  • Allocation of payments
  • Day to day mentoring and supervision of the sales ledger staff
  • Providing appraisals and 1-1s to sales ledger team
  • Processing BACS payments and other rev receipts
  • Resolving any outstanding account variances
  • Controlling DD collection runs
  • Monthly reports for KPI's and credit/debit balances

Profile

The successful candidate for this role will meet the following criteria;
  • Double entry bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of Dynamics AX
  • Understanding of VAT
  • Previously managed and monitored a sales ledger team
  • Relevant accountancy qualification i.e AAT
