Oakleaf have an exciting opportunity for a finance manager to join us at our head office based in Hare Hatch. Fantastic opportunity to join an expanding company that values its staff.

About the Company

We are a medium-sized operator, managing a portfolio of services and mental health hospitals which provide residential, nursing and specialist care to people with complex mental health and learning disabilities across the UK.

About the role

We're changing the way we provide financial reporting and advice, with an emphasis on working closely with managers at all levels so that they can use financial information to improve the delivery of their work. This role, reporting to the Chief Executive, will be responsible for leading the team providing accurate and timely information including:

Financial Planning & Analysis

Budgeting and Forecasting

Monthly management report and financial reports

Financial Modelling for New Business Opportunities

About you

We are looking for a qualified financial accountant who will be the also be responsible for

maintaining tight financial controls with a focus on cash and working capital management, passionate about partnering with managers to demonstrate the value that good financial information has for their work to come and be our Finance Manager.

You must have can do attitude and willing to take on new challenges.

You will either be proven at this level and looking for a new challenge, or someone possessing relevant experience looking to make the next step in their career.

We are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic person with a business partnership mentality to come and be our Finance Manager.

You will have a proven track record of developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders, managing teams, delivering complex financial analysis and driving



Significant experience post qualification financial accounting and business partnership.

A proactive attitude to delivering information on time.

The ability to provide sharp analysis and insight behind the numbers.

A strong internal stakeholder, who is able to demonstrate confidence in their ability and



Experience using group accounting software such as Xero.

Experience of working in Care Home Sector or Healthcare Sector.


Full CCAB Professional Accountancy qualification

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 + 10% Bonus after 18 months
