Fund Accounting Oversight - Intermediate Manager, Financial Services Edinburgh, up to £45,000 DOE

Your new role

Your new role will be joining at Assistant Vice President level, within the Fund Accounting and Valuations team, sat in the Edinburgh City Centre.

You will be acting as the oversight function for the off-shored Fund Accounting teams, ensuring all discrepancies and anomalies are escalated and dealt with in a timely, efficient and effective manner. You will be owning and taking responsibility for these complex issues from resolution to closure while monitoring errors, complaints and near misses - recording in the Incident Log as appropriate.

This role has excellent opportunity for progression, as the most driven individuals will reach VP level in no time.

Further to this, you will be -
  • Ownership, management and development of strong client relationships
  • Proactively manage SLAs/KPIs (escalating any issues internally / externally as required)
  • Championing a culture of collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of client requirements
  • Ensuring 100% adherence to SOC1, funds' offer documentation, procedures, policies and guidelines
  • Act as technical and knowledge resource to the team/business unit
  • Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products
  • lead projects to optimise operational efficiency and improve quality
  • Deputise for Fund Accounting Manager as required e.g. host/attend cross department meetings and ensure resolution of actions

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, the individual will be client focused, with strong people management skills, working with the clients to ensure their fund accounting needs are understood and being met.

For this role - You must have prior experience in Fund Accounting within a similar organisation.

What you'll get in return

In return you will be compensated up to £45,000 per annum and be eligible for an array of benefits.
