Role also potentially available in Reigate, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and EdinburghThe RoleOur data services span a range of clients with different UK pension administration systems and our solutions are either delivered within the team, across several areas of the Willis Towers Watson business or in partnership with specialist external suppliers. As a fast growing team, we want experienced Defined Benefit pensions professionals to join us as Pensions Data Specialists to deliver various data projects to our clients, including data audits, cleanse and construction, and GMP related projects.The candidate will play an essential role in a range of technical projects, take responsibility for successful delivery of the work and work closely with other members in a diverse project team. The candidate will be used to communicating technical issues in a clear way to a broad audience. It is expected that you will be highly numerate with good analytical skills and be very comfortable with using modern software and ideally have a keen interest in programming and developing technological solutions for the benefit of our clients. In addition the candidate will have good organisation skills and demonstrate core project management behaviours to complement their technical expertise. Some experience in pension correction and rectification exercises would be advantageous as well as more advanced data auditing and cleansing all elements of Pension data.The RequirementsA proven track record in delivering multiple projects Good knowledge and experience of UK DB Pension arrangements A good understanding of manual benefit calculations and processesA clear, concise and confident communicator of complex or technical issues relating to UK pensions and member data to a broad audienceComfortable with data and pension services and products that require technology and softwareA firm commitment to delivering high quality service.Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environmentExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelMinimum academic requirements grade 9 - 4 / Grade C or above for English Language and Maths at GCSE or equivalentExperience in developing close working relationships with clients and/or external third parties, or suppliersExperience in data auditing, data cleanse and construction, and GMP exercisesProven delegation skills and a natural desire to coach and mentor junior associatesFoundation level SQL skills - specify and configure SQL reports to interrogate data and then present findingsInquisitive, self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguityExperience of pension administration systemsEqual Opportunity EmployerJob ID: 190002RHEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Area: ConsultingFunction: ConsultingIndustry: Consulting Services
