Role: Compliance Officer Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,400 to £30,300 Location: Cambridge What it is about Cambridge Assessment International Education delivers assessments to schools and learners worldwide. Part of the Operations Division, the Compliance Group are responsible for the development and delivery of processes and activities that safeguard the security, integrity, accessibility, fairness and reputation of Cambridge International assessments. Due to internal promotion and expansion, we are looking for two new Compliance Officers to join dedicated and motivated team. As a Compliance Officer, you will work to ensure that people all over the world can trust the Cambridge International brand and the qualifications we deliver. What you will be doing You will work primarily with either the Malpractice or Inspections team. Applicants will be considered for both roles, but please let us know in your application if you have a preference. Malpractice team role Your main responsibility will be investigating suspected malpractice; breaches of our regulations that threaten the integrity of our exams. You will: * Own investigations from start to finish * Review evidence to make decisions on whether malpractice has occurred * Decide and justify appropriate outcomes * Provide guidance and support to our customers to prevent reoccurrence of malpractice * Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the way we wor k * Support the wider Compliance Group as required Inspections team role Your main area of work will be arranging and following up on inspection visits across the world. You will have a portfolio of inspection programmes and will work with a team of inspectors to ensure that they have the tools they need to successfully conduct their inspections. You will be: * Planning inspection programmes, including risk assessing and prioritising which exam centres will be seen and the most efficient way to do so * Organising flights, accommodation and other logistical arrangements with assistance from the Cambridge Assessment Travel Office * Supporting inspectors in the conduct of their inspection programmes * Following up with exam centres to ensure that issues identified are resolved * Involved in the recruitment and training of new inspectors * Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the way we work * Support the wider Compliance Group as required.
