Your day to day Lead the priorities and objectives of the Marketing Governance, overseeing the EMEAA region across 4 Business Units (IMEA/SEAK/AUAJ/Europe) with offices in London, Dubai, Delhi, Sydney, Tokyo, Paris, Frankfurt and Singapore, and working closely with a team in Atlanta for global alignment. Reporting into Director, Marketing Excellence EMEAA you will lead and help embed IHG's new Ways of Working and marketing processes, ensuring smooth operation of EMEAA Marketing Shared Services to deliver global and regional marketing campaigns. The role is essential to the execution of IHG's set key marketing processes and gateways including, but not exclusive to, the Assembly (integrated marketing planning meeting), Global Marketing Calendar and the upcoming Marketing Prioritization. In addition, you will be one of two global leads for MRM but also a frontline for any issues and complications that need to be addressed around Ways of Working and processes, working closely with global marketing shared services/loyalty/brand partners and EMEAA stakeholders. * Work across EMEAA stakeholders to update and maintain a monthly global calendar for monthly MLT review. * Support the development of a new visualization tool, ensuring input/feedback from EMEAA stakeholders. * Chair the weekly EMEAA Marketing Assembly, acting as a gateway to the Marketing Shared Services resources and ensuring IHG's new Ways of Working processes are followed and necessary documents are provided. * Collaborate with Atlanta based Governance team to ensure accurate and timely global and EMEAA pre-read is communicated for visibility across all BUs. * Lead the implementation of the prioritization model, ensuring integration with channel planning and allocation in EMEAA. * Support Director, Marketing Excellence EMEAA in the development of a marketing planning and budget, collaborating with stakeholders in EMEAA and Atlanta. What we are looking for * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. * 8-10 years in hospitality or other consumer-focused sector, preferably within a large multi-national company. * Experience in engaging cross-functional working partnerships in a global organization. * Strong decision making, influencing/consensus building and analytical skills with clear understanding of impact on IHG revenue goals and bottom-line. * Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. * Proven experience in process leadership and governance. * Experience working with and influencing several disciplines of marketing. * Experience in strategy with a track record of creative, rigorous analytics to solve business problems. * Possesses a 'start-up' mentality and has successfully created a new organization, function, or process.
