Digital Platform Manager Manchester Competitive Salary Benefits As Digital Platform Manager you will have responsibility for Aldermore's digital platform including Aldermore.co.uk and the framework and technologies for integrating line of business origination and servicing portals. You will lead a team of designers and developers to continuously improve the digital experience for our customers and intermediaries. You will also play a key role in shaping the future direction for the technology used to support customer interactions, driving innovation and delivering Aldermore's long-term business & IT strategy Reporting to the Group Development Manager you will work with colleagues across IT & Business to champion increased use of Agile delivery models and support adoption of DevOps tools and practices. You will also act as an ambassador of the organization's values (REDS) - Reliable, Expert, Dynamic and Straightforward and to demonstrate the associated behaviors at all times The Role The role holder is accountable for Leadership - Manage relationships with key for the digital platform including marketing, product owner, content managers, business analysts, project managers, UX/UI designers and heads of delivery for individual lines of business. Create a culture that strives for both technical excellence and delivery of positive customer outcomes across the Digital delivery team. Manage relationships with third party organizations to support solution delivery. Strategy - Work with Enterprise Architecture and Heads of Delivery to articulate strategy for Aldermore's Digital platforms. Utilise industry knowledge to drive innovation and shape roadmaps for future state capabilities. People - Recruit, retain and develop talent within the Digital team. Continuously improve the capability of the organization through training and cross skilling. Ensure teams are motivated and operating in line with Aldermore's values. Delivery - Implement delivery models to support run, maintain, enhance and change of the Digital platform. Ensuring that commitments are met for individual lines of business as well as large corporate programs. Drive transition to more Agile working practices and use of DevOps toolsets. Governance - Ensure that risks are understood and actively managed through the banks Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Financial Management -Drive efficiency improvements to increase output per unit of cost. The Person Essential: * Extensive experience of web development and running Digital platforms (Web, Mobile, CMS). * Leading and managing development teams (5 staff). * Experience working in Financial Services ideally Mortgages, Savings, Business Finance. * Use of Agile and DevOps tools and practices to drive continuous improvement throughout the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) * Experience working in a highly regulated environment and implementing appropriate Governance, Risk and Compliance processes. * Abie to challenge the status quo in order to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience Desirable: * Migration to hybrid cloud architecture. * Experience managing relationships with 3rd party organisations. * Excellent senior stakeholder management experience * Experience working with Umbraco, Backbase or other CMS platforms Who we are An award-winning bank here to help Britain's go-getters.
