Why we need this role We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our newly established and fast-paced Growth team at a stage where you can really make a difference. We plan to run hundreds of performance marketing campaigns globally as well as to increase our in-product conversion and k factor and we need someone to use advanced data science to execute and optimize our global performance and content marketing. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with marketing analytics background to dive into data sets and automate, measure and optimize the effectiveness of our performance and content marketing campaigns. You will have the chance to work across all departments, supporting the constant improvement of our marketing efforts and overall business growth, as well as automating data pipelines and integrations. First Six Month Deliverables / OKRs * Develop and roll out multi-channel attribution model * Strategy for SEM optimisation and customer segmentation * Establishing A/B testing roadmap What will you be doing? * Using advanced data science to execute and optimize our global marketing. * Measuring and providing optimization recommendations for marketing campaigns and improving our marketing effectiveness through experimentation * Owning full cycle of an experiment (from data-driven hypothesis generation to test design to analysis and interpretation) while also innovating on experimental methodologies that allow us to obtain meaningful results * Applying advanced statistical analysis and clustering algorithms to understand consumers behaviour across multiple channels * Develop Marketing Mix and Promotional Pricing Models to find the most optimal spends and promotion percentages * Develop Forecasting models to help drive scenario planning and leverage Return on Advertisement Spending * Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights that will help drive decisions across the user funnel such as acquisition, activation, and retention * Studying user behaviour, strategic initiatives, markets, content, and new features and bring data and insights into every decision we make * Partner with Engineering to improve data source quality Requirements * Some experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence with a proven track record of delivering performance results required * Strong application knowledge of Statistical and Data Mining techniques. * Strong knowledge of SQL, BigQuery * Working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS STAT & SAS Macros or Python, R * Proficient with Tableau and other Data Visualization tools * Experience in A/B and multivariate testing * Have working experience with some of the following: Adstage, Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Zoho/Hubspot, Salesforce * Working experience with 3rd-party tracking vendors and integrating with social platforms. * You will have the ability to interpret complex data sets and come up with actionable recommendations * Good technical and analytical communication skills * Commercially minded and always thinking of the customers' current and future needs * You live and breathe data, and can use it to help teams make the right decisions * Are excited by technology and will enjoy working in the fast pace of a start-up. * Are passionate about loosely held values and ideas.
